Not only did she lose 60 pounds in 7 months, she
went from a Size 22 to a 10...
"Growing
up, I was always bigger than my friends and classmates. I had come to
the conclusion that it was hereditary and that I was always going to be
the "big person" or the "fat person". I finally accepted
the fact that I was always going to be "big boned" as I called
it. I said I was big boned, as a way to convince myself that I wasn't
really fat or that much overweight. But standing at 5'8" weighing
230 pounds I knew deep down that I was overweight.
Having made it through my freshman year in college without gaining the
"Freshman 15", I was still overweight. I also managed to make
it through the rest of my undergraduate years without gaining. A couple
of times I "tried" to do the Atkins diet, but depriving myself
of the food that I love, especially breads and sweets, was not working
for me. I would make it through a week or a week and a half and then give
in. So after losing and then gaining it back, I gave it up. Deprivation
is not the answer.
After graduating in December '03 and looking at the pictures from my graduation
dinner, I realized that I was "fat" and that I needed to do
something about it. I knew people, friends and family, talked about how
I looked and my weight and although it always bothered me, for the first
time, I was determined in my mind to do something about it.
I hired Chuckie, as my personal trainer. To be honest, at first I was
like, "Oh Lord, I got to go on this strict diet and do all these
logn and hard exercises." But in all actuality, it was a lot of fun
and still is. Chuckie did give me a list of foods that I could eat and
that I couldn't eat. (Thank the Lord) but instead he gave me guidelines
to healthy eating. The strength and conditoning and cardio exercises have
been fun. I've done exercises that I did not think I was capable of doing.
When I'm working out, Chuckie changes up the exercises so that I don't
get bored with them, and start complaining. Cardio, is probably the exercise
that I dislike the most. But once again, Chuckie has various forms of
cardio exercises that I can do to make me enjoy them more.
Chuckie is such an awesome trainer and motivator. I know that if I had
to do the exercises on my own, and stay on track that I would not have
been half as successful as I am with Chuckie as my trainer.
He pushes me and keeps me going to achieve the goal that has been set
for me.....
Hiring Chuckie as my personal trainer is one of the best decisions that
I have made. Thanks Chuckie!!!!!!!!"
This
is a warrior that spends alot of hours in the gym and in the weight room.
KJ is one of the most determined athletes I have ever trained. He packed
on an impressive 15 pounds of muscle last summer, but had an unfortunate
ankle injury that forced him to redshirt this season. He'll regain his
explosive form this off-season and have his best season ever.
"I've
been involved in competitive basketball at every level except the professional
level. So I've worked with a variety of knowledgeable personal trainers.
But I have yet to encounter a personal trainer who is so intent on results.
He understands that his clients have goals and he's
dedicated to helping us reach them.
Last summer I worked
with Chuckie for the first time. My goal was to gain as much weight as
possible over the summer. I was very skeptcial though, because I knew
how active I would be. However, when I returned to school my coaches and
teammates marveled at the 15 pounds I had added to my frame.
I'm anxious to get started
working with Chuckie again this summer. If you work hard, results are
guaranteed."

This is one of the hardest working kids in the business. He's always done
everything I asked him to. Alan fought back from a tough injury this year
and had
a great year. Little 4 Championship, Little 4 All-Tournament 1st team,
Little 4 MVP. State Championship, all-tournament 1st team.. The list goes
on. In addition to his accomplishments on the court, his hard work has
recently got the attention of modeling agencies and allowed him to delve
into some acting opportnuties.

"I've
got to be honest and say that every client I take is not successful.
Getting results requires working very hard. The people that I
feature on this page are consistent hard workers that have done
everything that I asked them to do and have the results to prove
it."
